After 1 month of being discharged from the hospital, baby Thien An is much rosier today. Her mother said she eats better at home and is less out of breath when running and jumping.

After the cleft palate surgery, Huy and his mother came back to hospital to practice speech therapy to treat his lisp.

On August 28, 2023, Thi and her father returned to the hospital as scheduled. After the eye surgery, the baby's eyes are no longer crossed and the myopia has improved. In addition, today, baby Thi also got a surprise because she was given a walking frame. Thus, the baby can walk on his own without being carried by her parents.

After 1 month from the first sclerotherapy injection, the hemangioma in Nghi's hand was noticeably smaller. And today, Nghi received sclerotherapy in her back. This time, Nghi was much more tired. Moreover, 3 days after being discharged from the hospital and returning home, she had complications with pleural effusion. She was then immediately readmitted to the hospital and after 1 week of treatment, she recovered well.

Today, Nhi and her mother came for a follow-up examination of fibroplasia of her right leg. Now Nhi is 3 years old so she knows how to greet the nurses and doctors. As of today, baby Nhi is practicing walking. The baby's mother shared that she was very happy and thanked the doctor for treating the baby.

It was Tien's last day of Physical practice. At the end of the workout, Tien's hands had better strength and flexibility. Now she can carry a 10 liter bucket of water. Next week, Tien will enter 11th grade. In November, she will return for another neck surgery.

Today is Tien's third sclerotherapy. We hadn't seen each other for 1 month but the baby's face was much smaller than before. This time, when Tien was at home, he actively reminded his parents to go to Saigon for medical treatment.

Her parents had to stay at hometown to work in the fields, so Y Jo Ny's sister followed her to the hospital. Lanh, Ny's older sister, is only 18 years old this year. Last year when Y Gio Ny had to be in the hospital for leg treatment, her older sister also came in to take care of her.

Today baby Thy came for a follow-up check-up after 2 weeks of being discharged from the hospital. The baby's incision is now dry and the incision is very beautiful, without affecting the baby's aesthetics. Her father said she could now bow her head. 6 months later, baby Thy will return for surgery on the tumor in her cheek.
Today the baby was also very happy because she received a gift from a visiting benefactor.

 

After the complicated surgery, baby An was taken to the ICU for observation. During this time, the baby's mother was very worried because this was the baby's first heart surgery. After 1 week of follow-up, baby An was in good health, happy and discharged from the hospital.

After the surgery, the baby's eyes were red and a little painful. The day she had the surgery was also the day her little brother, Lam Quy Bao, came to the clinic for a follow-up visit after the cleft palate surgery. With her younger brother, Thi was less painful and happier.

Today, baby Thy was discharged home. On her return, the baby was given a gift by the nurses in the hospital to celebrate her discharge.

Baby Bao Thy had recovered well after surgery. During this surgery, the doctor had planned medicine and blood transfusion in case the baby got severed. Fortunately the surgery was completed successfully, the baby recovered well after surgery and was painless.

Baby Thy was admitted to the hospital today to prepare for tomorrow's surgery. The baby will have surgery on the chin. When asked if she was afraid, she confidently answered that she was not afraid of surgery.

On July 13, 2023, Nghi received treatment with sclerotherapy for the first time. For this treatment, the doctor chose your arm to treat first. Next time, Nghi will come back for sclerotherapy in her back.
Nghi's father said, Nghi was very happy and looked forward to the day of treatment because she had hoped to have her arm cured since a long time ago.

On July 3rd 2023, An and her parents went to Hospital of Medical University for admission preparing for her first surgery. When An's parents were aware that An could receive the treatment, they made tears as An could have ca chance to live longer and healthier. And for An, many children see doctors with fear but she came with smile. Now, she is 2 years old and she hardly knows this is the first remark in her life. Hope she recovers well after the surgery.

On June 19, 2023, thi's father took her to hospital for a follow-up visit. After a period of wearing glasses and blindfolds, the baby's squint did not decrease, but also became more worse. The baby needs surgery.

Baby H'Lanh and her mother went to HCMC for the first time to examine scoliosis. The baby's disease is a birth defect and the curvature is severe, with a curvature of 70 degrees. The safest way to treat it is to wear a scoliosis brace until adulthood. The brace will help shape the spine and prevent curvature. As for the surgical method, according to the doctor, surgery will prevent bone growth, so this method cannot be performed on a developing child. In addition, surgery will likely cause complications such as lower body paralysis.

On June 14, 2023, Kiet went to the hospital for a follow-up examination with his mother. The baby's incision has healed and the baby has been cured of cleft lip and palate. Mother said after coming home from hospital, the baby ate well and slept well. After the surgery, baby Kiet needs to learn pronunciation to avoid being livid when growing up.

It has been 1 month from the time Thao came home to his follow-up examination. Because he lives very far from the hospital, Thao got his stitches cut at a hospital nearby. While taking care of the wound, Thao had an infection, but fortunately it was cured. Returning to the hospital after 1 month, the skin graft has healed with the skin on the arm. At home, Thao needs to practice stretching to restore the function of his arm.

At the end of this summer, Dat will enter grade 1, his parents let him learn letters at the teacher's house near his house. In the last surgery, the boy had surgery to have a thumb. Due to his weak hand, Dat practiced writing with his left hand.

Kiet had finished his surgery. Although he had a mild fever and had to stay for one more night for observation, he then had good health and could go home.

After each sclerotherapy injection, the mother will help the baby relieve the pain. Tram is such a brave child that can consistently suffer from the pain to continue her treatment.

Today, the parents took baby Hau to Saigon for a medical examination. The baby had a cleft lip on one side and a cleft palate.

On May 16, Kiet and his family were hospitalized to prepare for surgery to patch the arch. On this day, it was great to have kindful donors to visit and gave him some gifts

After the skin graft surgery, Thao's health was fine even though he was in pain at night.

After 2 months of blindfolding practice to improve eyesight at home, today Bich Thi and her parents returned to the hospital for a follow-up examination. The baby was prescribed by the doctor to wear glasses to reduce the squint. Today, she was also very happy to be given teddy bears by benefactors.

In April 2023, Dat went back to the hospital to continue having surgery. Mom said Dat was very excited to come back to see the doctor and nurses.

April 25, 2023, baby Thy and her father went to Ho Chi Minh City for an examination. Baby Bao Thy is quiet and obedient, always listening to her father's instructions when going to strange places. The baby was given tests such as MRI, X-ray, etc. Having been to the hospital many times for treatment, Thy was not afraid of having to take tests.

On March 13, 2023, Thi was taken by her parents to an orthopedic and eye exam. With the foot examination, the reason the baby can't walk is due to a neurological disorder, so she can't be surgically intervened. With an eye exam, the baby was found to be crossed and showing signs of amblyopia.

After the surgery, Dat and his mother went to the hospital to change bandages and had a follow-up examination. The boy is small but full of energy.

Tram came with a cute Teddy bear in hands, she happily showed us her new friend and headband. Mom said this was a gift from a benefactor who often helped them when they migrated to Vung Tau to live.

In November 2022, Dat re-examined with the doctor to evaluate the level of recovery after the first surgery and prepare for the next surgery.

One day after the operation, Dat was much fresher, fortunately the boy was not in much pain. In this surgery, the doctor inserted the splint into the wrist, the crook of the wrist will gradually be straightened through the follow-up visits.

On July 20, 2022, Trang and her parents moved from Quang Binh to Ho Chi Minh City to visit. For 10 years, the family did not think that her leg could be cured, so when she heard that the doctor could cure Trang's disease, it was a great happiness for Trang and her family.

At the first meeting, little Dat was very happy to see the doctor again after 2 years of delay due to the Covid epidemic. The boy was excited because he was about to have beautiful hand.

It has been 1 year since the first sclerotherapy injection, Tram has undergone 5 sclerotherapy injections and regular check-ups. The baby's vascular malformations are well controlled and are no longer bulging like before.

The first time she received sclerotherapy, Tram was quite tired because she had not yet adapted to the medicine.

When we first met Tram, the house she was living in with her mother and grandmother in Ha Tinh almost completely collapsed due to a fierce storm. All assets, which were not very large, was suffered heavy losses. Not only that, her medical treatment was also interrupted because of economic constraints. Her left arm was 3 times larger than the arms of her peer. And, she didn't seem to have much vitality because of the pain.

Lo Ngoc Nhien was admitted to the hospital for her first treatment with intra-arterial chemotherapy.

Dang Ngoc An Ha was admitted for the first treatment. While waiting for the discharge procedures, she played car racing with other children who are also receiving support from the Children Of Vietnam Charitable Fund.

The child returned for a follow-up and continued with the second treatment. The results of the fundus examination after the treatment on September 18, 2024, showed that the tumor had reduced.

Currently, Y Kden Bdap has completed the treatment, and his chest has almost fully recovered like a normal child. He will continue to have follow-up checkups as scheduled by the doctor.

After four years of persistent treatment, Tran Diem My has grown much taller, her legs have been straightened, and her steps have become lighter and more stable. Phan Hoang Bao Tram returned to the hospital for a follow-up appointment due to significant pain in her hand. Fortunately, it was just a normal post-treatment sign. She has now completed her treatment and is actively performing physical therapy exercises at home. She will continue to be monitored and have regular check-ups as scheduled by the doctor.

Phan Mộng Nghi has been admitted to the hospital for her next sclerotherapy session. The latest images show that her fingers have reduced in size, and the vascular tumors on her arm have almost completely disappeared. She is expected to have a follow-up appointment with Dr. Stéphane Guero in November 2024 to continue treating the contraction in her fingers.

Le Ha Nam was admitted to FV Hospital for the first time to undergo sclerotherapy treatment.
