Y Chươn Kễn was born prematurely with a congenital chest deformity and malnutrition. During the first years of his life, he frequently visited the hospital for monitoring and treatment, particularly due to recurring episodes of pneumonia that required repeated hospitalization.
The greatest loss in his young life came when his mother passed away, leaving just Y Chươn Kễn and his father to rely on each other. Without a stable home of their own, his father takes on whatever daily work he can find to make ends meet while caring for his son. Life was already difficult, and the ongoing cost of medical treatment has placed an even greater burden on the family.
Fortunately, after a period of treatment and care, Y Chươn Kễn’s health has now stabilized, and he has gained enough weight to be eligible for surgery. This is an important opportunity for him to receive the treatment he needs and improve his health in the years ahead.
However, the cost of surgery is far beyond what his father can afford. As much as he hopes to see his son receive the operation, their current circumstances make it impossible for him to cover the medical expenses on his own.
The Children of Vietnam Charitable Fund sincerely appeals to our kind-hearted donors to join us in helping Y Chươn Kễn receive surgery as soon as possible. Your support will give him the opportunity to receive timely treatment, improve his health, and move toward a more stable life—one where his childhood does not have to revolve around hospital visits.
Every contribution today is a helping hand that brings Y Chươn Kễn one step closer to growing up healthier and enjoying a peaceful childhood by his father’s side.
Note:
The estimated total budget is based on the initial treatment plan provided by the doctor.
The budget may be adjusted following subsequent follow-up appointments.
At the end of the treatment process, the final expenses will be updated accurately and substantiated with medical records from the hospital providing care for the children.
