Feb 28, 2017 - 08:07 pmAfter 1 month from the first sclerotherapy injection, the hemangioma in Nghi's hand was noticeably smaller. And today, Nghi received sclerotherapy in her back. This time, Nghi was much more tired. Moreover, 3 days after being discharged from the hospital and returning home, she had complications with pleural effusion. She was then immediately readmitted to the hospital and after 1 week of treatment, she recovered well.

The latest images show that her fingers have reduced in size, and the vascular tumors on her arm have almost completely disappeared. She is expected to have a follow-up appointment with Dr. Stéphane Guero in November 2024 to continue treating the contraction in her fingers.
