Little Nguyễn Ngọc Hân, 3 years old, endures daily pain caused by an abnormal tumor beneath her left distal femur.

 

At just three years old, little Nguyễn Ngọc Hân, with her sweet and adorable face, should be running and playing joyfully like other children her age. But an abnormal tumor beneath her left femur, discovered when she was just four months old, has taken all of that away.

 

The tumor has continued to grow over time. Although Ngọc Hân has already undergone surgery at Children’s Hospital 2, her condition has not improved as hoped. She still cannot take her first steps and must rely on her hands to move around. Every day, this little girl bravely endures the pain caused by the tumor.

 

Ngọc Hân's parents currently live with her grandparents in Kon Tum. Her mother stays at home to care for her every moment of the day. The burden of daily expenses and medical costs falls entirely on her father, a farmer with unstable income. Recently, her father was also diagnosed with a herniated disc, reducing his ability to work and making their financial situation even more precarious.

 

Yet, through all the hardship, the family has never once given up hope. They believe that a miracle is still possible—one that will help Ngọc Hân overcome this challenging journey, so that one day, she can walk on her own, explore the world with her own steps, and have the chance to live a life like other children: normal and happy.
